What does the indicator show?

Common problems

Ice or water tastes or smells bad

  1. Has ice not been made for a while, or does it taste or smell off? Throw out the ice and run through the flushing steps again.
  2. Does the bad taste or smell stay after flushing? Fit a new filter cartridge.

Water keeps dripping from the dispenser

  1. Did you just install a new filter? This is normal for a few days while trapped air clears from the dispenser.
  2. Is the drip tray full? Check it regularly and empty it when it needs it.

The first batch of ice looks discolored

  1. Did you just turn the ice maker on after fitting a filter? This is normal and not harmful, it happens during flushing.
  2. Have you thrown away the first bin of ice? Discard the first full bin of ice made before using later batches.

The filter light will not turn off after changing the filter

  1. Have you already fitted the new filter cartridge? Only reset the indicator after replacing the filter, or filter monitoring will be inaccurate.
  2. Did you press and hold the right buttons for 4 seconds? Press and hold the two buttons together for 4 seconds to turn the indicator off.
