Which light or icon is on?
- Filter replacement icon illuminated: Water filter needs replacing. The filter icon on the control panel and external display comes on when the water filter cartridge is due for replacement.
- Filter warning light flashing: Filter is overdue for replacement. A flashing filter light means the filter needs to be changed as soon as possible.
- Key lock icon illuminated: Control panel buttons are locked. KEY LOCK disables the internal control panel buttons, useful when cleaning.
- Several beeps when pressing a button: Buttons are disabled by key lock. If the panel is locked, pressing any button just sounds beeps instead of doing anything.
- Sabbath mode icon illuminated: Sabbath mode is active. In this mode alarms, lights and the display are turned off for 80 hours.
- Key mute icon illuminated: Button sounds are silenced. KEY MUTE stops the beep that normally sounds when you press a control panel button.
- Alarm mute light illuminated: Door alarm is temporarily muted. The light above the ALARM MUTE button shows the door alarm has been silenced.
- Dispenser lock light illuminated: Water dispenser is locked. DISPENSER LOCK stops water being dispensed, useful for cleaning or around small children.
- Bottle Chill icon flashing: Chilled bottle is ready. A flashing Bottle Chill icon on the external display means your 15 minute chill timer has finished.
- Repeated beeping with a door open: A door has been left open. The alarm beeps if the refrigerator or freezer door is left open too long, then keeps beeping every 30 seconds.
Common problems
The refrigerator isn't working at all
- Is it getting power? Check the plug is properly connected and the power is switched on.
- Does another appliance work on that outlet? Plug something else in at the same outlet to test it, and check the house fuse.
- Is the display and light dark because of Sabbath mode? If the product is in Sabbath mode, press and hold the three Sabbath buttons together for four seconds.
The fridge or freezer isn't cold enough
- Is the temperature set correctly? Check the set temperature and adjust it using the Temperature control steps.
- Have the doors been opened a lot, or a lot of food just added? Frequent door openings and a large amount of newly added food will warm the compartment temporarily. Keep door openings to a minimum and give it time to settle.
- Are the doors sealing properly? Check the cabinet is level and the gasket seals are clean.
The automatic ice maker isn't making ice
- Is the ice maker switched on? Turn the ice maker on from the control panel.
- Is the ice bin fitted correctly? Place the bin with the scoop at the front, under the ice maker in the top left of the freezer.
- Is the water supply connected and on? Connect the water supply, and check for low pressure or a kinked or squashed water line.
- Could the filter be clogged? A clogged filter can stop ice production and may need replacing.
The water dispenser doesn't work
- Is the water supply turned on? Turn the water on, then press the dispenser pad for four minutes to clear trapped air and fill the system.
- Is the supply line blocked? Check the supply line for kinks or leaks.
- Could the filter be blocked? A blocked filter can stop water flow and may need replacing.
- Is DISPENSER LOCK turned on? Press and hold the dispenser lock button for four seconds to unlock it.
